One simple rule—putting a client’s needs first—has helped Jersey Shore Lawn Sprinkler Construction Company Inc. grow to become one of the 75 largest irrigation companies in the U.S., according to Irrigation Business & Technology; the official publication of the National Irrigation Association.
“We go into everything with an open mind,” says Anthony Sierchio Jr., President and Co-owner of the family-owned and operated company celebrating its 35th year in business. “We listen to our clients. We take their needs and break them down” to develop a customized plan.
Jersey Shore Lawn Sprinkler, based in Toms River, New Jersey, provides irrigation, well pump and well drilling for municipal, county, federal, industrial, commercial and residential clients across Ocean, Monmouth, Burlington and Mercer counties. In addition to Anthony, the company is headed up by co-owners Christopher Sierchio, Treasurer, and Donato Sierchio, Vice President. Whenever Jersey Shore Lawn Sprinkler undertakes a project, one of the company’s owners is present with a full-time installation crew, according to Anthony.
“We’re there for you when you need us,” he says. “We don’t make our clients wait.” Having three co-owners who are actively involved with the company helps set Jersey Shore Lawn Sprinkler apart, Anthony says. “We all bring different viewpoints to the table. We consider alternatives and seldom make a mistake.”
Jersey Shore Lawn Sprinkler meets the irrigation needs of a wide range of clients. The company works on municipal, county and other local government projects, along with school systems and sports fields, and for health care clients, including Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, one of the company’s larger customers. Other projects include condominium and apartment complexes, churches, golf courses, parks, cemeteries and shopping centers. The company also works for developers and builders throughout the state.
One of the company’s most impressive projects in recent years, Anthony says, was at the home of the Lakewood BlueClaws Minor League Baseball team. “We completed an irrigation project for FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood,” he notes.
